Advancing care through clinical trials

A joint Montefiore Einstein Office of Clinical Trials (OCT) is being re-engineered to formalize an infrastructure that will provide local, national and global leadership in clinical trials and evidence-based health care. Montefiore Einstein Ophthalmology is taking a leadership role in this effort. Our OCT will be a locally and nationally recognized leader in showing that trials can efficiently be conducted at an academic medical center. This program is designed to guide, inspire and implement sponsored human trials, industry sponsored and National Institutes of Health sponsored as well as investigator-initiated pilot programs based upon scholarship and intellectual engagement of the Montefiore Einstein community.
