Lisa Figueiredo-Gennarini, MD, and the clinical research team in the Department of Pediatric Oncology at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore Einstein were honored for “Outstanding Performance in Patient Enrollments” by the Children’s Oncology Group (COG). Dr. Figueiredo-Gennarini is Director of Hematologic Malignancies, a member of the MECCC Cancer Therapeutics Research Program, leader of the MECCC Pediatric Oncology Disease Team, and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She accepted the Certificate of Excellence on behalf of the MECCC team at COG’s Community Oncology Research Program Meeting in September.
