Dr. Ohri, a Professor of Radiation Oncology at Montefiore Einstein and a member of Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center, was recognized for his project, “Chemoradiotherapy Optimized for Immunotherapy for Limited Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer (COILSS).” The Challenge, hosted by ASTRO with support from AstraZeneca, is designed to advance cutting-edge research on ways of improving therapies and outcomes for patients with limited-stage SCLC via innovative radiation and immunotherapy approaches. Dr. Ohri’s was one of three proposals to win a portion of the $750,000 award.
