Dr. Baker, an Attending Physician at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and a member of Montefiore Einstein Comprehensive Cancer Center, received a four-year, $1.34 million grant from the Peer Reviewed Cancer Research Program at the U.S. Department of War to expand her research on her discovery of a novel genetic pathway that contributes to the development of this rare and aggressive pediatric bone cancer.
