2025 Highlights
Montefiore Einstein Anesthesiology
Montefiore Einstein Anesthesiology is a hub for integrated perioperative and periprocedural care across Montefiore Health System. In 2024, we made significant strides in both clinical operations and digital health research – providing an evidence-based foundation for exceptional patient care throughout the perioperative period. The team of talented anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists cared for nearly 100,000 patients throughout the year, ensuring that each patient receives the highest level of patient-centered care during their time at Montefiore Einstein.

Note from the Chair
In 2025, the Montefiore Einstein Department of Anesthesiology focused on innovation in postoperative critical care medicine, strategic planning to create the infrastructure for a growing Department, and compassionate patient-centered care. We are proud to have successfully implemented several initiatives that enhanced the efficiency of anesthesia care, especially during a time when our healthcare system is serving an increasing number of patients each year.
